LayLine — Privacy Policy

Applies to the LayLine Android application (package com.darqblades.layline). Last updated: 19 October 2026.

Short version. LayLine does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. It works entirely on your device. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics, and no trackers.

1. Information we collect

We collect no personal information. LayLine has no sign-in, no registration, and no server of ours that it talks to.

2. How the app uses your device

Your designs, saved tracks, and grid layouts are stored locally on your device only.
When you choose to save or export a file, the app writes it to your device's own storage (e.g. your Downloads folder) at your direction.
When you choose to open a file, the app reads only the file you pick.
None of this content leaves your device through us. We never see it.

3. Network access

The app does not send your data anywhere. It has no advertising or analytics components and no third-party tracking SDKs.

4. Data sharing

We do not sell, rent, trade, or share any data, because we do not receive any.

5. Children's privacy

LayLine is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone, including children.

6. Security

Because data stays on your device, its security is governed by your own device and its protections. Uninstalling the app removes the app and its local data, subject to your device's backup settings.

7. Your control

You can delete any saved design or exported file at any time from your device. There is no account to close and no server-side record of you to erase.

8. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this same address with a new "last updated" date.
